Welcome to Yes Bay Lodge

Yes Bay Lodge lies fifty miles north of Ketchikan in southern Southeast Alaska. Overlooking the spectacular view of the Bay and pristine Wolverine Creek, the Lodge is nestled in the heart of The Tongass National Forest, the largest temperate rain forest on Earth. For over 40 years, the Hack family has been welcoming guests to Yes Bay Lodge. Unlike most fishing resorts in the state, Yes Bay Lodge is able to offer guests a wide range of freshwater and saltwater fishing, due to its’ unique location. The myriad of lakes, streams and rivers located within a short distance of the lodge, offer some of the finest trout and Dolly Varden fishing available in Southeast Alaska, while the steelhead fishing is world-class. For the salt water angler, there are five species of salmon that spawn in the areas, including king, silver, sockeye, pink and chum. In addition to the plentiful salmon, you may opt to bottom fish for Halibut, Rockfish, and Lingcod.

An All-Inclusive Premier Fishing Lodge

There are hiking trails throughout the rainforest surrounding the lodge, from moderate to strenuous. Guided sightseeing tours lead to McDonald Lake, Wolverine Creek, the old cannery, and soothing hot springs. There are boat rides available to Bailey Bay, Shrimp Bay, Orchard Lake and Lake Shelokum as well as the Neets Bay Hatchery where you can get up close and personal with both brown and black bears. Yes Bay Lodge can also arrange flight tours where you may also visit the bear observatory at Anan Creek, take a floatplane tour of the Misty Fjords National Monument, or fly out to one of the many fresh water lakes or rivers for some awesome freshwater fishing.

What Yes Bay Lodge Clients Have To Say...

A big "shout-out" to you and staff at Yes Bay!!!! Jamey and I had the greatest experience ever. Memories of the trip will be with us for the rest of our lives. Please pass our appreciation on to Nicky, Matt, Racci(sic) and the rest of the lodge staff. We even got the weather we ordered!! Wishing you and all the folk at Yes Bay a great remainder of the summer season with a big silver run. I'm off to the freezer for some halibut to cook for dinner.

Yes Bay Lodge is worth the price! The service is better than a high end resort and the entire area miles in all directions is pristine. The ratio of one guide to two guests fishing means the service and personalized attention extends to the day of fishing on the water too. Unique and fabulous experience!

Ryan, Nicky, Gabby, Gator & Eclipse (aka Little Jig), Matty and the entire Staff,
On behalf of our group ("The Trouble Brothers", I would like to extend our sincere appreciation for an incredible stay at the Yes Bay Lodge. Not only did we bring back a load of fish, but we also came home with memories that will last a life time (Or at least until we return to the Lodge next year). Thank you all for putting up with our antics, our stories, the loud laughter, and our non-stop banter. Hopefully, we didn't overwhelm your staff or any of the other guests. Please let everyone know how much we enjoyed our stay.
